€50,000 - €60,000 + Paid Weekend On-Call + 30 Days Holiday + Full Training on PV Systems + Long-Term Stability

Are you an experienced electrician looking to move into the renewable energy industry?
Do you have hands-on electrical experience and are comfortable working with voltage, current and electrical testing?

I am currently representing a growing renewable energy company that develops, plans, builds and operates large-scale photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems across Germany and Europe. They are continuing their consistent growth and are looking for an electrically qualified engineer/technician to join their team and support the operation and maintenance of their solar plants.

In this role, you will travel across Germany from Monday-Friday, working on large-scale solar installations. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing PV systems, replacing inverters and modules, checking transformers, testing electrical systems and resolving faults across the plants.

The successful candidate will have a vocational qualification in electrical engineering/electrical trades and be comfortable carrying out hands-on electrical work. PV experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided on the solar technology. You will need to be fluent in German, hold a driving licence and be willing to travel throughout the week.

You will be joining a steadily growing business with a strong presence in the German renewable energy market, offering a stable role working on large-scale solar projects.

The Role:

• Travel to solar plants across Germany Monday-Friday
• Maintain, service and repair PV systems
• Replace and repair inverters, modules, wiring and other components
• Check transformers and carry out electrical measurements
• Test plant operation and identify electrical faults
• General upkeep and maintenance of solar sites
• Participate in a paid weekend on-call rota approximately once per month

The Candidate:

• Vocational qualification/Berufsausbildung in Electrical Engineering or a related trade
• Hands-on electrical experience
• Fluent German
• Full driving licence
• Willing to travel Monday-Friday
